  • Can SONOCA be used in iPhone(iOS) and Android?

    Yes, it can be used in both devices. Please use the SONOCA dedicated application (iOS14.0 or later, Android 8.0 or later)

  • How do I download it?

  • Could I download it by my PC?

    Yes. Please see below for how to download

  • I cannot successfully extract (unzip) a zip file I downloaded on my computer.

    Depending on the standard Windows decompression function or the decompression software you are using, there is a possibility that the zip file cannot be decompressed properly. If you encounter problems such as garbled characters in the extracted file, please try other decompression software (such as "7-Zip").

  • Could the music downloaded by SONOCA be saved onto my PC?

    Yes. Please see below for how to save it onto PC

  • Could the music downloaded to my PC be listened to on SONOCA?

    You can transfer the music to your smartphone and listen to them on the SONOCA by following the steps below.

    <Android>

    • Upload the music data to Google Drive on your PC.
    • Download the music data from Google Drive on your Android device.

    <iOS>(※)

    • In the Settings on your iPhone, turn on [SONOCA] > [Media & Apple Music].
    • Start iTunes on your PC and import the music stored on your PC into iTunes.
    • Synchronize iTunes with your iPhone and transfer the music imported into iTunes to your iPhone.
    • In the SONOCA app, tap [Setting] > [Content Management] > [Update Library].

    ※The procedure is to transfer the music from the PC to the Apple Music app (Music app) on the iPhone and listen to music in the Apple Music app with SONOCA.

  • Could the music in the Apple Music app be listened to on SONOCA?

    You can listen to music in the Apple Music app with SONOCA by following the steps below.

    <iOS>

    • In the Settings on your iPhone, turn on [SONOCA] > [Media & Apple Music].
    • In the SONOCA app, tap [Setting] > [Content Management] > [Update Library].
  • Could the music downloaded from SONOCA be listened to on the Apple Music app?

    You can transfer the music to the Apple Music app by following the steps below.

    <iOS>

    • In the Settings on your iPhone, turn on [SONOCA] > [Media & Apple Music].
    • Transfers the music in the SONOCA to your PC. Please see below for how to save it onto PC
    • Import the music transferred to your PC into iTunes.
    • Synchronize iTunes with your iPhone and transfer the music imported into iTunes to your iPhone.
  • How do I view music lyrics?

    Tap the image on the SONOCA playback screen, and the lyrics will be displayed in the image area.

    If no lyrics are registered for a music, the message "No lyrics found" will be displayed.

  • When I enter the serial code/access the QR code to download,

    the message "UsedSerialCode" appears, but there is no music in the album list.

    You have registered the serial code, but have not downloaded the music.

    When you open the SONOCA download screen, the songs for which you have registered a serial code will be displayed.(※)

    Please Tap it to download.

    ※You will need to sign in to the same account you used to register the serial code.

    Account information can be found in SONOCA's [Menu (≡)] > [Setting] > [User Information].

  • Can I download the tracks as many times as I want?

    As a rule, you can download only once for each SONOCA card. We recommend you to back up data in case of damage or changing smartphones. For the backup function in SONOCA application, please click *here*

  • Is there an expiration date for downloading tracks?

    There are SONOCA cards with expiration date for downloading tracks. Please see the back of SONOCA card for expiration date.

  • Unable to download tracks. The message [Error code: 05070029] is displayed.

    Please check the following:

    • The latest version of SONOCA application is installed
    • There is enough free disk space in the storage
    • There is no communication error
  • When I try to back up on my iPhone, it shows “Backup Failed”.

    Please check the following:

    • On your iPhone, go to [Settings] > [Apple ID, iCloud, Media and Purchases] > [iCloud] and make sure [iCloud Drive] & [SONOCA] are “on”.
      If it is already “on”, turn it “off” and then “on” again, and restart your iPhone.
    • Please make sure you have enough space in iCloud.
  • Unable to install SONOCA application

    If you cannot install the application, please check to see if there is enough free disk space in the device. If unable to install although there is enough free disk space, please contact the device manufacturer.

  • What is the listener registration?

    An account registration is required for downloading music by SONOCA. This account will be used in SONOCA Download site and in SONOCA Player.

  • Can I delete downloaded songs?

    Yes, you can.

    On the album list screen of SONOCA Player for iOS, tap the […] to the right of the album to be deleted to display the delete menu.

    For Android, please remove the content from the file browser application, etc. Deleting by SONOCA Player itself is not supported.

    ※In principle, only one download is allowed per SONOCA. Please be careful when deleting.

  • I want to delete (cancel) my listener account.

    If you delete your listener account, you will not be able to restore the content that has been backed up to the cloud. We recommend that you transfer the content to your computer in advance.
